I was not contacted by text so that I could get my vaccine at Applemore recreation centre ended up traveling to Southampton both times also given wrong information about getting flu vaccine no it was not done with my booster so now 17/12/2021 I need to book elsewhere and yes I am over 50 please relay correct information to people over the phone or give useful information

Dear Anonymous,

We are sorry to hear that you have had a disappointing experience. We would like to be able to investigate this for you but unfortunately without your details we cannot look into this further. The main reasons for not receiving a text are that we either do not have a mobile number registered to your clinical records, or that we may have an old mobile telephone number and have not been notified that it has been changed.

We have been providing the seasonal influenza vaccine alongside our Covid boosters at the Applemore Recreation Centre, as has been advertised on our website and in our text messages. Unfortunately you went to an alternative provider and of course we have no control over what services they provide.

If you have yet to book your flu vaccine and you need further help please do not hesitate to contact our Surgery directly using the telephone, or via the online E consult service on our website. I am sure we will be able to solve any remaining issues that you have.

Once again we are very sorry for your experience as we endeavour to do our very best on all occasions.
