"Outpatient appointment experience"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Dermatology

(as a service user),

Had appointment booked for 09:50am, my name was called five minutes later and they apologized for me waiting....lol. Staff were friendly and explained everything that was going to happen. They talked to me and asked me questions and made some jokes throughout to help take the my mind off what was going on as they were cutting open part of my scalp and that does worry you just a little bit. Experience was very professional, friendly, and I cant stress how much the NHS and its staff are valued in everything they do.

Dear MrMac,

Thank you for sharing your experience of our clinic. It is great news we were able to see you (almost) on time, each procedure takes its own time and we sometimes over run.

We try to keep the mood in the procedure room light and informal in the hope it relaxes our patients, I am glad this seems to have worked for you.

Hopefully everything is healing well and you are well on the road to recovery.
