About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Day Surgery Unit

(as a service user),

I am a NHS doctor and was on the receiving end this time. I was admitted to the medical day case unit under Dr Grubb for day case procedure. Right from the time of walking in to the medical day unit , the procedure and post procedure care, everyone I received outstanding care. The consultant , his registrar Dr Victor , Cath lab nurses , radiographer were all superb. During my Post procedure  recovery I was kept in the ward where I  was looked after by Eileen and Kristy, both of them are such caring and compassionate nurses.  I stayed there for 4 hours and closely observed them dealing with every patient admitted there. They were all absolutely amazing. The compassionate care nurses and their support staff  were delivering to the patients is truly praiseworthy. 

I am grateful to everyone involved in my care. And I wish them all the very best.
