(as the patient),

At the beginning of November 2020, under consultant Mr. Tsafrakidis I had a biopsy performed regarding prostate cancer. This procedure was carried out with great dignity and little pain. Thanks to consultant and his team.

At the end of November 2020, (cardiology) . Following   passing out a number of times I was treated at home by excellent paramedics. Then hospitalised and taken to cardiology at lunchtime Monday I subsequently had a pacemaker fitted the following morning and returned home by tea time. Cannot recall names or surgeons but treatment was first class.

Then in September 2021, Following a biopsy carried out out by Dr. Amy a melanoma was detected and subsequently removed at QM hospital by consultant Mr. Ng I wish to thank him and his team of nurses for his excellent treatment.

The post operative care for the nurses from plastic surgery responsible for care and dressings was of a very high standard.

Then finally in November 2021, Following a CT scan carried out after the diagnosis of the melanoma an aneurism was  detected in the aorta.  A follow up scan was carried out by a very competent person from ninewells hospital.

Dear Kenny66

Thank you for taking the time to post on Care Opinion. You have certainly had a busy period with your health, but it is lovely to hear that you have had a positive experience with so many different services. Unfortunately Mr Tsafrakidis no longer works for NHS Fife as he has left to work somewhere slightly warmer that rainy Scotland, but I know he would have been delighted with your feedback.
