(as a service user),

Phil, the gastroenterology specialist nurse at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, came to sort out a problem with my son’s peg tube. He met us in A and E, staying on late to be there to help us. He was helpful, reassuring and supportive. He went above and beyond to provide great patient centred care in the midst of the current massive workload at hospitals.

The experience of coming to adult A and E for the first time was made so much easier for our learning disabled child. Many thanks Phil.
