Story from daughter of 80+ year old female patient from Derry/Londonderry area

To the amazing Acute Care at Home team, please accept my deep gratitude and appreciation for the outstanding care you all provided to our 92 year old mom recently during her serious illness.

Without your prompt and highly professional care I doubt that our mother would have made such a good recovery.  I am glad to report she is back to her normal self having had all that excellent care in the comfort of her own home which really made a huge impact on her recovery.  This is a wonderful service and one that i was not aware of prior but I really cannot praise it enough.  Bless you all.  Special thanks to; Dr Todd, Dr Walsh, Kerry, Geraldine, Donall, Barry, Shauna, Kayleigh, Cepta, Julie and Fiona and also to Carla, the pharmacist who kept me up to date with mom's medication and plan of care.

Thank you for this very positive feedback.

I am very glad that your Mom Has made such a good recovery and that she found the Service of Acute Care At Home Team beneficial.

When possible it is best for older people to be cared for at home as medical issues allow.

The familiar environment and people certainly help a person recover faster.

Your feedback will be shared with the Team and the named individuals will be commended for a job well done
