I was admitted to Daisy Hill Hospital from the Emergency Department from the Emergency Department after suffering from a COPD attack.
My experience in A&E has differed, with the first time being good and the second not so good. I was sent home, then brought back in by ambulance, triaged and then left outside for nearly 12 hours. However, all the staff were brilliant, it was just so incredibly busy.
Up on the Male Medical Ward it has been fantastic - everyone has been really very good. Every member of staff is equally brilliant - right down to the tea lady. I really cannot say anything bad about a single member of staff.
The only thing which could be improved is the food which I have found to be a bit iffy. The portion sizes could also be slightly better - I could have done with more beef with my roast dinner today.
"Fantastic on Male Medical"
