I presented myself early morning to the Department of Scheduled Admissions at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and I was impressed by the efficiency of the staff taking my details as part of the check in process.
I was helped by the nurse Lorraine to get myself ready for surgery later in the morning and she started the process of checking and confirming my details.
She was helpful and any anxiety I had disappeared after a quick reassuring chat with the very empathetic Mr Bourne the surgeon and his colleague Dr Batti and it was at this point I knew I was in very good hands
All my details were taken and a further visit from 2 anaesthetists to finalise other information before a visit to the Nuclear Medicine department for another small procedure before my surgery.
My sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff I had taking care of me on Monday in the efficient environment of Department Scheduled Admissions Pink Zone and the Injection Room of the Department of Nuclear Medicine
"Great efficiency at the Department Scheduled Admissions and Nuclear Medicine"
