"Genuine compassionate care "

About: Blenheim Lodge

I felt my mum, Jenny Growden, was so well looked after in the 11 months she was staying at Blenheim Lodge. Originally coming in for respite care it quickly became apparent my mum could not be in her own home anymore. The care staff seemed genuinely concerned for my mother's well being and actively tried to get her the help she needed whilst providing care daily in the midst of coming out of lockdown. From the manager to the cleaner they all played their part in making sure mum was safe, well fed and encouraged to take part in the life of the home. I was sad that mum had to move on due to a decline in health but this was communicated in a compassionate way and the manager supported me to find somewhere suitable. I am so grateful for all those working in this home and am thankful to have found a place with good care.
