Advice and letter off GP to attend A&E still

Sitting there 8 hours later not happy at all appauling I get emergency come in but no updates what so ever just read board I get told I am a 64 year old and the people telling are my daughters age and my granddaughter age the have no compassion at all for people waiting poor customer service

We are sincerely sorry to hear of your experience in the A&E Department yesterday. The Team in A&E have been informed of your concerns and staff will be reminded to provide regular updates on the waiting times via the board, tannoy system and in person. We are currently experiencing an increased number of patients attending the A&E Department which has significantly increased the waiting times. We are sorry that the waiting times were not regularly communicated to you.
