We went to the neurophysiology department 23/11 @08:30 at Manchester children's hospital, with our 8 year old autistic son. He had to have an EEG which, due to his complex needs, was very stressful for him & us. After a difficult journey from Wigan & a massive change in routine for Samuel, this nurse, Lucy, was fantastic. I can't praise her enough. She was practical, compassionate, caring & understanding. She was non judgemental & needs to be cherished & rewarded for her 'can do' attitude, & her skills both professionally & in showing empathy for a difficult time for us & our son. I hope senior management are aware what a gem they have. Thank you Lucy
"A lovely nurse who is great at her job,&really knows people"
