"Excellent care"

I recently had a stay at the Day Surgery Unit at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline  for a cancer related surgery. The pre and post op care was exemplary and I was kept informed by all healthcare professionals throughout my stay. Before surgery , I was visited by all members of the team who explained their roles and what the process would be and the nursing care pre and post operative care was excellent. The anaesthetist and surgeon were both timely in reviewing me post op and I felt cared for at all times throughout my stay. 

The facilities in my room were clean and the only improvement I would make is the standard of the food that came from the kitchen. It was lukewarm at best but as I was only there for one night it wasn’t too much of a problem.
