I had my first coil fitted on Saturday with the GP federation. Cannot fault the fitting or staff. Very friendly and relaxing for the situation. However I was told to contact my gp/nurse for a string check if I had any concerns. Having contacted them I was told that the place that fitted my coil had to provide a check. I have gone back and forth in circles between the two saying that the other should provide a check. This is very off putting for someone that hasn’t had this procedure before and is unsure if the coil is in the correct place. I understand the pressure that all everyone is under currently. However the issue between who is now responsible for the aftercare is not reassuring for any future issues. I feel like I have been belittled for being concerned that it is not in correctly
