"prostate cancer"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I had my prostate removed by robotic surgery in Lister hospital January 2020 and then handed back to Luton and Dunstable for regular PSA blood tests under the urology department.  The staff and doctors were very supportive and doing a great job in hard times, but now my PSA is rising from 0.03 after my op to 0.06 6 months later.  It is now 1.00 but my doctor thinks that's fine. I thought I should not have a PSA reading or at least 0.01 at most, as I have no prostate, The problem is trying to get an answer from someone to say yes that's fine or your doctor is incorrect.
