"Flu booking system does not work"

(as a parent/guardian),

I have unsuccessfully been trying to get the second flu vaccination for my  child who suffers from asthma. My GP directed me to NHS Inform but it doesn’t work – everything is about Covid instead! Normal online and booking systems do not seem to work! I have spent over 2 and a half hours on websites, telephone calls, been put on hold for ages only for the call to be hung up before talking to a person, it’s like an eternal loop. I have been signposted to everywhere with no actual help. All I want is to book a vaccination for my son.

thank you for telling us about your experience of the flu vaccination booking system and I am very sorry to hear how challenging this has been for you. I understand how frustrating this must be for you and your son.

You have told us that you are trying to get the flu vaccination for your son and you were directed to the NHS Inform website. I need more information from you so that I can handle your complaint fully and to make sure that you receive a helpful response.
