"Staff were pleasant on arrival"

The staff were very pleasant on arrival in the Gynae clinic and the nurse who collected was very kind, as at 87 1/2 years old I was very 'let up' and not looking forward to the procedure at all. Staff in the clinic were also very nice and talked to me as well. I knew it was because of covid I had to be on my own, but I am someone who needs my husband to come in with me and wait with me, after all we are together 'twenty four seven' as they say, we'd both had all our jabs and the flu one, so what would have been the problem especially as there is nobody else waiting with you. Being alone is not nice when you are lucky enough to have support, as I'm sure most old people have some one to bring with them. Please think about it!
