"Excellent staff in both areas"

About: York Hospital / Accident and emergency York Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was taken by ambulance to the A and E department with shortness of breath and a rapid pulse rate. I was later admitted to the Acute Medical Unit ( it had ward 22 over the entrance door)

I wish to record how excellent all levels of staff were in both these areas.

They were caring, patient, cheerful, attentive, and thoroughly professional even though they had a huge workload of people wanting attention.

My sincere thanks to all those members of staff. They are a credit to the NHS.
