"Explained everything clearly"

(as a service user),

I took my 3 year old granddaughter for her first orthoptic assessment. The staff including the student, her supervisor and Tor the optician were all fantastic, they ensured we felt at ease and explained everything clearly. 

They made what might be an intimidating experience for a young child a positive experience. Even when she had to get drops put in. She now has her pooh bear specs and is delighted with them. Thanks Team.

Dear Fife2021,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent hospital appointment for your granddaughter to the orthoptic assessment unit. I am delighted to see that we provided you both with excellent care throughout, It can be a very daunting experience for children to come into hospital and it looks like we were able to alleviate some of this stress for you both.

I will pass on your lovely comments to the staff who I am sure will be happy to receive. I have no doubt the Pooh Bear specs will be looking fabulous!
