"Impossible to cancel appointments"

No wonder there is a shortage of available Xray appointments. It is absolutely impossible to cancel radiology appointments. Nobody ever answers the phone. This week I made 42 calls to radiology. Not once did I get through. I work full time, am not allowed to have my phone with me whilst working and it meant I had to get cover/ spend my entire break trying to get through. Still unable to cancel my appointment. I can't try any more. I give up.

Thank you for your feedback. Radiology admin are experiencing major issues with staffing which is affecting our ability to respond to telephone calls effectively. We are doing the best we can to cover all the necessary roles and can only apologise profusely to patients for the issues and concerns this is causing.
