As a private patient attending an appointment for a transvaginal ultrasound on 11 October, I found the manner in which I was pressed for payment by the receptionist utterly insulting. I have not been treated this way in any other private healthcare establishment and given the sensitive and emotional nature of my treatment, I felt that the service provided by the receptionist was dire.
Despite the consultant I saw being respectful and clearly explaining everything he was doing in relation to my ultrasound scan, the behaviour of the admin team has left a lot to be desired and made me reluctant to return for treatment there.
I am particularly disappointed that I had to wait more than a month for written feedback - which highlighted issues which had not been picked up on the day of the scan itself.
I would urge anyone to avoid this place.
