"The staff have been so attentive"

We came to Blossom last Tuesday. We have had such a positive experience and have found the staff to be so attentive, it is clear they work very well as a team. They are very courteous towards one another. Faith in particular is great, you can tell she is a very strong leader and everyone seems to work well with her in charge. Whatever we have asked for here we have always got. They also seem to work well and close with the medical and surgical team here. The communication is clear between us and the nursing team but not so much with the surgical team. We appreciate they are very busy and work very fast paced but we feel like we barely have time to ask them questions when they are here with us in the morning. Sometimes we get a sense that they have just glanced at the notes before coming to see us rather than taking time to read them carefully. I only say this because we wait from day to day to hear from them and before you know it your time with them has been and gone. I did ask to speak to a member of the surgical team on one occasion and they did come and spend time and talk to me one evening. This was a really positive experience. The cleaning is spotless on the ward; one girl in particular has a very high standard of cleaning which makes this such a safe place for us to be. She is brilliant. The food is always on time and is warm which is great. It is served by friendly staff too which is brilliant. It is nice they look after the parents so well too even when it is your child that needs cared for.
