"Proactive doctors, non existent care coordinators"

About: Surrey And Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

The doctors are absolutely first rate, working in partnership with you and really explaining decisions carefully in a language that can be understood. Despite being given a care coordinator it is now over 4 months since I had any contact from a care coordinator, despite asking repeatedly for support as I attempt the stressful job of trying to return to work and complaining to management. I have no care plan in place some 5 months after being referred. I have not been given any talking therapy in 5 months despite having to give up counselling offered by IAPT because of being referred to secondary care. Being referred for me meant I got an outstanding consultant and access to medication and diagnosis but got less access to care than I had with my phenomenal GP and IAPT services.

Dear Kate, thank you for your feedback. We are concerned to hear about your care plan and would recommend that you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service who can offer you advice and support on this matter.
