"Can’t thank you all enough "

About: Fairfield General Hospital

I would like to say a massive thank you to Fairfield General Hospital. I was admitted with high inflammation levels due to a flare of Ulcerative Colitis. My experience in A&E was terrible (through no fault of the staff, just the situation), but once I got to the ward everyone was lovely and couldn't do enough for me. They were all very busy, but were doing their best all of the time. Every HCA that was working in Ward 7 on 29th and Ward 9 from 30th October to 2nd November in my bay was amazing. They really made me at ease, did such an amazing job and were so helpful. I also want to give special thanks to the HCA that went out of her way to find something to allow me to elevate my legs and find food that I could eat with my Fructan Intolerance whilst also being exceptionally helpful and lovely under difficult circumstances. To the Sister looking after me for all of her help again at times under exceptionally difficult circumstances, to the Staff Nurses looking after me for being so attentive, for being lovely and making so much effort to find me the correct dressing for my wound. All Staff Nurses, consultants and doctors that looked after me were amazing too, I am so thankful to you all and feel so much better after my stay in hospital with you all. Thank you so much

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. Firstly, I would like to apologise for your experience in A&E. I am however happy to hear of your positive experience on the wards you were on.
