"Excellent care"

About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

I was due to be induced on 4th November and I was really worried about the process. My baby decided she would actually come on her own on the induction date so that was good. I wanted to say that the two midwifes who I met in the delivery room were absolutely fantastic. They understood I’d been doing some hypnobirthing and went above and beyond to create a positive experience for me. They helped with breathing, having nice smells and lighting and letting me remain 100% in control. They made getting through the delivery so smooth and I can’t thank them enough. The soup, toast and tea was also very welcomed after a difficult few hours. They’re a credit to the team and now I’m so happy to be watching our little baby girl grow day by day.

Thank you so much for the care provided to me.
