"Disorganised and unacceptable "

About: Chelsfield Park Hospital

During our consultation and nurse appointments for IVF we have had nothing but disorganised, unprepared and unacceptable customer service.

We have often left appointments feeling like they do not want NHS patients at the hospital, that private patients come first and that you are just another number coming through the door.

It is such a stressful time and process that you expect a little empathy from the staff however this is not the case.

Things were missed and not explained to us properly which then delayed our treatment. Our appointments always started late which we understood as there is a lot of pressure on the staff however our latest appointment started an hour late which the staff knew that we had rearranged work to be able to attend.

When our concerns were raised with management, the attitude and dismissal of what we were explaining was disgusting.

I am so upset and disappointed with the service that we have now requested a referral to the 2nd option we were offered however this is now delaying our treatment even further.

I would not recommend this facility for IVF however can not comment on the rest of the hospital as we haven’t experienced it.
