"A centre of excellence"

About: Croydon University Hospital

My grown up son was blue lighted in an ambulance to Croydon University Hospital with Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) on the evening of 8th November and taken to the Recuss. Dept. The level of professionalism, skill and friendliness was off the scale! Despite being run off their feet, they remained calm at all times and took time to explain all procedures and answer any questions. One doctor was about to go home when my son arrived but he stayed on to assist. I cannot speak highly enough of the level of care my son received in this department and I will never be able to thank them adequately. An absolute centre of excellence in my view.
