"The best of care"

About: Cardiac surgery / Cardiac Theatres Northern Ireland Ambulance Service Royal Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Royal Victoria Hospital / Covid Vaccination Centre

(as the patient),

I had a heart attack and the care I received was 2nd to none, from the doctor to the orderlies all deserve a special mention. On a Friday as I was driving to work I felt a pain/burning in my chest, when I arrived in work the pain had increased and a colleague phone an ambulance. Within 40min I was in A&E receiving treatment, in the next couple of hrs I was brought into theatre and a stint put in.

I was wheeled into a recovery room and when Monday came I was released.

4 weeks later, I have received my final covid jab, a flu jab and jab. I have been treated by several doctors and loads of nurses, each one giving me the best of care. They are a credit to the medical institutions. Always friendly and a willingness to answer any question, I can’t say enough, these people are true hero’s. Thankyou
