This morning I was sent to the Prince Charles Eye Unit by my pharmacist as I has accidentally slashed a corrosive liquid into my right eye.
Within 20 minutes of registering with reception I was seen by a triage nurse. She did some preliminary tests and I was sent back to the waiting area to wait to see an eye specialist. After 40minutes a specialist nurse attended to me and did a thorough examination of the eye. She prescribed an antibiotic snd gel to soothe the eye snd I was able to leave within an hour and a half of arriving at the hospital.
I was really impressed with the speedy attention and care I received at this hospital. A real credit to the NHS and my particular thanks and gratitude to the staff who attended to me today. Thank you.
"Excellent service and care"
