(as a service user),

I was sent to Deborah beginning at year.  No person has ever understood me.  I am in a job and I was going to be sacked.  Deborah set up meetings with me and human resources. I did not hope was convinced I was the loser I always have been as have record.

What Deborah does not know nor my psychiatric nurse was that I had planned to end it it would be the day I lost my job.  But Deborah was tough with me and my workplace.  She talked to me and asked me what I wanted and I felt like she was on my side.  Every talk she had with human resources I was included.  Every letter she wrote I was included.  Deborah me and human resources made a wellness plan to support me I thought work were still going to get rid of me.  I bought things so that my death at least would be successful. But am not sacked all the disciplinary stuff stopped as Deborah helped them understand that I had some value.

I sent a card to Deborah I wanted to buy her flowers too but did not want it to be strange.  I dont work with Deborah now but she still gives me a call to check on me even though I finish work late and she saved me.  She does not know this but Deborah saved me. I would say anyone if you need to have someone fight for you especially your job then get Deborah. I have thrown the stuff I bought to end it in the trent. Thanks will never sound enough.

May I say what a wonderful post to read, clearly written with such feeling. I am sure that this will mean the world to Deborah. I am glad that you have felt listened too and involved in all aspects of the work that you have completed together. It is great news that you were able to keep employment and continue in your recovery. I am also glad that you have chosen to continue with your life and feel some worth again.

Thank you so much for posting this I shall pass this on to Deborah and the team at Gedling LMHT. I wish you all the best.

Kind Regards

SallyAnn
