It all started when I called 111 for help, I was suffering gallbladder stones pain, it was so severe I could not cope. The care I received in AE was beyond brilliant every staff member taking care me were amazing. Kind , empathetic, reassuring are just a few words , once my pain was in in control several hours later I was transferred around a bit to different wards until I landed in St Helens, my pain was controlled I met the surgeons I met anesthetists who were wonderful, the staff on the ward looked after me and kept the pain in control for three days until finally I had surgery. The anesthetist, the theatre staff were so wonderful, thank you seemes merely not enough, my hand was held when I needed it, that was quiet a few times , not being allowed visitors was so hard , but understandable. My aftercare was excellent , my pain was controlled until I was allowed home a day after surgery. I cannot say how many people took care of me there were so many. I tried to thank everyone during my stay. I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported me during this time I am truly grateful.
