I recently got prescribed anti biotics for an ear infection which cleared my infection up ,however 3 days later, infection came back. I was then prescribed a stronger dose for a further week which cleared the infection instead of making me better the anti biotics attacked my liver which in turn has now caused me to have jaundice from head to toe with a bilirubin count of 597 which for a normal person should be around 20 .
This is causing a lot of problems and very concerning to my health. This is still ongoing an very concerning to both my doctor in hospital as this has been confirmed as anti biotic that has caused this.
To think I had a liver problem with fatty tissue 3yrs back scarring my liver you would think they wouldn't be prescribed this course.
But given I haven't been able to even speak to a doctor, what chance have I got if my notes on my health are not read properly before prescribing.
