"No mask exemption or exception for health conditions"

My mum had a nurse appointment and because she doesn’t speak or understand English I need to come with her into the practice. Before entering receptionist asked or me and my mum have mask to wear… I have replied that my mum has but I feel medically exempt and I can’t wear mask. Receptionist told that in practice isn’t exist law about wearing the mask, no exemption or exclusion… everyone doesn’t matter on health conditions need to wear one. She doesn’t wait long and bring me a face shield… I did agree and wear it…

To better understand my situation and my unhappiness is because of my illness. I have Trigeminal neuralgia on both sides of my face that means any pressure or discomfort on my face can cause terrible face pain. Shield wasn’t prepared for me properly and I can’t see nothing. On that time I felt so down and shield been pressing my temple so hard. When appointment finished I have realised that pain is coming … I came back home and pain didn’t go away at all. I can’t eat, I can’t drink I have missed my shift at work as pain is so strong and the worst thing I don’t know for how long it will last…  

I just feel down… I am totally understand that it was made for purpose of our safety, but I can’t get why I have been treated unfair… Surgery is the place where people should get treatments but not treated like this…
