"Surgery for breast cancer"

I recently had a lumpectomy at Wishaw General hospital. I felt really nervous as I wasn't sure what to expect, but thanks to the day care nurses I was made to feel at ease, as everything was explained to me  - from what would happen before surgery to what to expect when I went home.

Also, the Anaesthetists were fantastic. I've had a bad experience with Anaesthetic in the past, which made me nervous, but they took my concerns on board and ensured my experience was alot more pleasant, and that I didn't feel a thing.  And the Surgeon did an amazing job removing the lump and putting me back together.

I can't thank the team enough for all their dedication and hard work. I truly appreciate everything they've done for me and continue to do for others. Keep up the good work and keep smiling. Take care.
