Following some weeks of low level abdominal discomfort, I had a telephone conversation with Doctor Ojo in Barnstaple He very rapidly arranged tests to be provided which resulted in a consultation at NDDH in a matter of days. The nurses who conducted this were superb at putting me at ease, as far as this was possible!

It was decided an endoscopic examination was needed which was carried out yesterday. Although the outcome is not a good one , my handling and treatment was superb form admission to discharge, and I cant thank them all enough.

Its a rocky road ahead with CT can expected in a couple of weeks, but I am fully confident in my care and treatment. A big thank you to all involved in my diagnosis and treatment . I wont say that I cant wait for my next visit, but feel confident that my case will be moved along as fast as possible, and my care will be of the highest standard.

Thank you to all involved, You are the brightest of stars on what may be a dark night. Top marks for NHS North Devon.
