Our daughter who was born at 30 +4 weeks spent one night in Swah and 3 in Antrim neonatal and 29 days in Craigavon neonatal over December and Jan. As I was isolating I didn't get seeing her at all until she was 8 days old but the staff in Craigavon were so caring to my partner and to me when I rang. Even tho I felt like I was torturing them ringing them regularly they never made me feel that way and told me to ring when I liked. The zoom calls were also brilliant on the days my partner and I wasn't able to go up, being able to see her made such a difference. When I first got to meet my little girl I was so anxious about holding her but Marion couldn't have been nicer and put me right at ease that first day, I'll be forever grateful for how caring she was that day and helping me get comfortable and offering to change her nappy for me when I was so nervous but afraid to say it! The care our daughter received during her stay was exceptional and even though it was a short stay for them we will remember them for the rest of our lives as we know our little girl wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them.
"Neonatal care fantastic!"
