I was concerned about my sexual health as my penis showed some symptoms from suffering an STI. My GP advised me to attend the Heals Sexual Service for further checks. I arrived at the place, and a lovely nurse called Kim guided me inside the room. She reassured me and made me feel I was in a secure and safe space to talk about my problem without feeling judged or discriminated. Kim carefully listened to all my concerns and explained to me all the following steps she would take to solve my problem. I went in first with a high level of anxiety and left the clinic feeling understood and very well treated.

Thank you for such lovely feedback. It can be daunting coming into clinic and patients often come in nervous not knowing what to expect on their initial appointment. I am glad your experience was positive and that you were listened to and felt understood.
