"So grateful and lucky"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

Recently with you for 5 weeks with kidney problems which bought on septic shock. In ICU for some time. Your staff were wonderful especially the nurses at night who put up with my pulling out the various attached instruments! Eventually they fitted me with mittens. Long drive for my wife to visit most days. You even arranged a bed in my room so she could stay overnight and my children were allowed to visit. Could not ask for better care.

I didnt realise how ill I was and how so fortunate I am to able to write this. Bless all of you.
