From the initial phone consultation with the doctor at Carnoustie Medical Group, through the referral and appointment at Ninewells Dermatology department, then the return to Ninewells to the have the lesion removed. The whole experience has been a shining example of what our health service can and should be. All staff were friendly, professional, with clear and sufficient information given throughout.

The process from first contact to having the lesion removed and then result of skin biopsy provided (which thankfully was a reassuring result), was remarkably fast. With the local anesthetic I felt no discomfort during or after the operation, the wound has healed leaving a barely visible scar. A big thanks to all at Carnoustie Medical Group and Ninewells Dermatology department. You have restored my confidence in a National Health Service which finds itself much maligned and under constant pressure from both the general public and those who continually restrict your funding.
