The waiting times in A&E are excruciating, I waited nearly 20 hours before being seen and no one checks on you whilst waiting in waiting area. Once through triage it isn’t much better and I was placed on a chair in the hallway for 8 hours which is uncomfortable and embarrassing as everyone knows your business. In total I was in A&E for 40 hours before being moved to the ward. I must admit that the doctors and nurses are very thorough and on the ball once they have all the results. I was then moved to 2 south and the staff are great.
