About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy

(as the patient),

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank everyone in the Home IV Outpatient Parental Antimicrobial Therapy (OPAT) Service at 4 South for their Kindness, professionalism and expertise in the care they provided me whilst in hospital, they alleviated my worries and concerns in what was a very worrying time for me and my family. A special mention to Pharmacist Peter and Nurse Specialists Pauline and Susan for combining their expertise to provide a much needed and vital role in my care plan, which allowed me to continue my treatment at home with my family. Whilst on the ward it is clear to see the high pressure the health care providers are under and what is an extremely stretched service, I personally can not speak high enough of the whole team as they showed me nothing but professionalism, dedication and kindness, Thankfully my recovery is going well and I attribute it to the positive care I have received from this fantastic team, I will be for ever grateful.
