"The dedicated staff of the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

(as the patient),

After my doctor and dentist found a lump on my tongue I was referred to the Maxillofacial Unit at ARI. A biopsy confirmed cancer in my tongue. Part of my tongue was successfully removed and subsequently, as a precaution, the lymph nodes on one side of my neck were also removed and showed no  further sign of cancer. During the consultations, surgery, and aftercare in ward 210, I received what can only be described as first class care and attention. Although all staff were working their socks off, they were extremely professional, attentive, caring and good humoured.

I, my wife and family are very thankful for everything that the dedicated staff of ARI have done for me.
