"Telephone appointment was a complete waste"

I had covid 3 weeks ago & my breathing is still not right so I completed an online form requesting a lung X-ray to see if any damage has been done to my lungs.

I received a telephone appointment yesterday & the doctor simply said “if I gave every breathless covid patient a lung X-ray they’d be over-run”.

I have asthma & wasn’t even asked to be seen. He didn’t even ask how my asthma was which is there in my medical records, let alone ask for me to come in so he could listen to my lungs.

Simply said to ring back in 2 weeks.

I’ve never felt such little care from a clinician before.
