I had occasion to use the services of 111, they sent this long form in a bundle of stuff from 111 and I didn't feel like filling out a bunch of forms so I thought I'd come here and share my story.
My GP wouldn't see me, and I got a bit desperate so I called 111. I was very impressed with them, it was a long wait after ringing them, 40 minutes to speak to a person who told me to wait for a medical person to ring back and discuss it, and that took 2 hours but I suppose I didn't really have much other options. A bit of a long wait, but it was kind of expected, what with the pandemic and everything, and I was not in immediate danger, and didn't need immediate attention. When I did get through, they were very helpful, and decided that I did need an ambulance, and two paramedics came down and helped me out. It turns out it was the right decision, or else I wouldn't be here to tell this story! It was very necessary as I ended up having a triple bypass!
