Fortunately I’m not a frequent visitor to the practice but since Covid began I have been caring for elderly relatives. Contrary to what the media are saying we have received amazing care from the practice. I have also needed to see the sexual health nurse twice recently, for procedures which require you to leave your dignity at home. She has a non-judgemental and sympathetic manor and also makes you feel at ease by using humour. She listened and gave me as much time as I needed in order to find a solution. There has been much bad press about Drs not seeing people face to face, in my experience it feels as though this has enabled the practice to filter patients and spend quality time with them where necessary. The waiting room is much more pleasant now that it isn’t rammed, long may this continue. Thank you all for your hard work in difficult times.
