"Extremely satisfied patient"

I have been receiving advice and treatment from The Wilson Practice for a number of months. I have used the on line e-consult service throughout and the feedback and follow up has been prompt and efficient, filling me with confidence that my condition was being handled appropriately and that a plan was in place to review and manage my treatment. I have seen the doctor face to face when it has been deemed necessary but more often we have spoken on the phone and agreed next steps, all to my satisfaction. I truly believe that the newly introduced various methods of interacting with patients is a model for the future, freeing up GP time to concentrate on patients who need more hands on consultation. It is also beneficial for patients who need to speak to the GP but who do not need a face to face consultation. I must also add that the recent flu vaccine exercise was communicated and managed with exceptional efficiency. None of my friends has experienced this level of service with most having no communication from their GPs and therefore having to resort to arranging their own vaccine through a pharmacy. My gold service has left them somewhat envious.

So a big thank you to all the staff, the receptionists, the nurses and the GPs. I am a very grateful patient.
