"My story is about the great care i received in ward 33"

About: Victoria Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

After being re admitted to hospital after 2days at home I was put into ward 33. Unfortunately my previous admission was hell and I had no confidence in the NHS. I was even thinking of going private thats how bad I felt.

Anyway the night I was brought up to ward 33 was like going from a budget hotel to 5 star luxury. I was welcomed by suzi the charge nurse and lesley NA. The care they gave me was excellent and I can't thank them enough for the 10days I was in the ward. Suzi took time to listen to me and reassured they were there for me anytime. The staff I received in my care were second to none.

I would like to thank the domestics who had my room immaculate and made me laugh and were genuinely lovely women. So thanks Anna bell and lesley. I would also like to thank Naomi,  Catherine ,Olu, Kim, Lorraine and Bob. And to Demi a lovely girl who has compassion and a natural caring person. She made me laugh alot.

Dear Sparkels15

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on care opinion, everyone will be delighted to read your lovely comments. I will share this with everyone you mentioned.

I am sorry to hear about your previous experience and this had left you with no confidence in the NHS. I hope that your stay in ward 33 has given you the confidence that our aim is to deliver a high standard of person centred care.

I wish you all the best in your recovery.

Take care

Pauline
