"I cannot recommend the department enough"

About: Daisy Hill Hospital / Direct Assessment Unit

(as a carer),

Just a short message of thanks to the fantastic OPAU in Daisy Hill. My mum was referred to this unit and has had 2 visits which both have been excellent in terms of treatment and care.

The facilities are excellent and the room has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and Joanne couldn’t have been more attentive to my mothers needs and concerns.

Dr Whan was equally attentive and took care to make sure mum understood the results and the treatment. This high standard has continued with follow up call the next day and an accelerated treatment plan when blood results came through.

This department feels like a private hospital care and I cannot recommend them enough.

Hello Mother's Carer,

Thankyou so much for taking the time to leave such positive feedback in relation to our older persons assessment unit (OPAU) in Daisy Hill Hospital and your mother's appointments there.

As a service, we strive to be truly patient centred and provide excellent care and it is reassuring that your feedback reflects that.

I will ensure that this is shared with the staff.

Many thanks and I hope that your mum remains well,

Yvonne
