About: Salters Medical Practice

I called for an emergency appointment and waited 5 hours for a call back. When I gave in and called again to chase as I was in agony and needed help, the doctor called and I missed it. I asked the receptionist to ask them to call me back ASAP. She told me I’d been taken off the call list. At this point I started to cry and asked her to please get someone to call me. I have been waiting an hour and will have to call an ambulance as my eyes are swollen half shut and I have a 2 year old at home so I can’t drive.

Doctors aren’t even seeing patients face to face despite every other industry being back open so I don’t know why they don’t have the time to give someone clearly in distress and agony a 2 minute call.

An ambulance which could be used to save someone’s life now used to collect someone who just needed some antibiotics. Absolutely disgusting.

We take all complaints very seriously and would encourage you to write, or email your concerns in to the practice addressing it to the Practice Manager Mrs Walker so we can investigate this further.
