"The birth of my Daughter."

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

On Monday 11th October I began having contractions and contacted Labour Ward at NHS Borders. This was the beginning of my speedy labour. The service and care the midwives and students provided was second to none. My experience was outstanding and I really don't have a negative word to say. I feel so pleased with how my whole labour went from being admitted to discharged. I have returned home feeling confident in our new family dynamic as a family of 4. Massive thanks to Libby, Amanda & Joan for there outstanding care and assistance with the safe arrival of my Daughter. Also thanks to Eunice, Carlene, Susie & Kizzy for the outstanding aftercare. Much love from all our family XX

Dear Gala2021!

Congratulations on your recent birth, I am pleased you had a positive experience, although 'speedy'.

I hope you continue to enjoy your family of 4 and I will ensure the staff are informed of such lovely feedback as we aim to provide person centred care.

Kind Regards

Kirsteen Guthrie
