Our baby boy arrived early at 34 weeks at craigavon area hospital after I went into preterm labour. He was transferred to craigavon neo natal unit shortly after due to breathing issues.
From the moment our son was moved there the staff were amazing in the outstanding and professional care the provided to him. They not only provided medical care to our son but they all treated him like he was their own child.
The staff supported us as parents through a very traumatic and distressing time and put our minds at ease.
Each and everyone of the staff went out of their way to ensure we were well informed and included in our sons care and working alongside them in partnership.
The beautifully thought up message boards were a comfort to get each morning and such a fantastic idea to give insight into how your child was getting on.
The staff were eager to ease any anxieties and were happy to take calls and allow us to be with our son throughout his time there.
The staff in neo natal are all amazing at their jobs and you can see with each and everyone of them that it is much more than a job for them. Thank you for taking care of our son and us! We are forever grateful for the care, compassion and kindness you have shown to us over the last couple of weeks and we know you all were as delighted as us to get our baby ready for home.
